This Honda came to us needing some real attention. Parts that were either missing, worn out, or just not there anymore - the kind of situation where you can't order a replacement off a shelf. That's exactly where custom fabrication comes in.
We built a new foot brake panel and fabricated a custom seat mount to get everything fitting properly again. When you're working on a vintage bike like this, off-the-shelf parts rarely exist. You either make it work with what's available, or you build what's needed from scratch. We went with scratch.
What we enjoy about jobs like this is the problem-solving side of it. Every vintage machine has its own quirks. Getting the seat mount positioned correctly so the seat sits solid and the battery tray underneath stays accessible - that takes careful fitting, not just cutting and welding. The foot brake panel has to be right too, because that's a safety component. No shortcuts there.
This is the kind of metalwork that doesn't get a lot of fanfare, but it matters. The bike runs, it stops, and it's rideable again. That's the whole point. Whether it's a custom exhaust, a fabricated bracket, or a part that simply doesn't exist anymore - we build it right the first time.
If you've got a machine sitting in the garage waiting on a part that nobody makes anymore, bring it in. Chances are we can fabricate exactly what you need.
