Electric Winch Install on a Toyota Tacoma for a Local Ice Cream Cart Business

Timberline Handcrafted Ice Cream had a real-world problem. Loading and unloading a heavy ice cream cart by hand - every single day - is rough. It wears on you. So they came to us looking for something better, and we got to work figuring out the right setup for their Toyota Tacoma.

The solution was a clean electric winch mount built right into the bed rail. We fabbed up a custom mounting rail so the winch sits flush and solid along the side of the bed. No awkward rigging, no bolting something cheap to the tailgate. Just a purpose-built setup that works the way they actually need it to work.
