Loose wiring and a missing or flimsy license plate mount might not seem like a big deal - until they are. Exposed trailer wiring gets snagged, pinched, and chewed up by road debris over time. A plate that isn't mounted right is a quick way to catch unwanted attention on the road. Neither problem is complicated to fix, but both need to be done right.

Here's what we tackled on this one. We fabricated and installed protective tracks along the trailer frame to house and shield the light wiring. Instead of wires just dangling or zip-tied to whatever was nearby, they now run through a clean steel channel that keeps them tucked away and protected from road wear. Small detail, but it makes a real difference in how long that wiring lasts.

We also built a solid bracket to properly mount the license plate. Custom fab work like this is exactly what mobile welding is built for - no hauling the trailer to a shop, no waiting. We come to you, assess what needs to happen, and get it handled on the spot with the right materials and the right welds.

The goal with work like this is always the same. Get it done clean so it holds up. Trailers take a beating, especially if you're using them regularly for hauling, landscaping, or any kind of work. Protecting the small stuff - wiring, mounts, brackets - keeps you from dealing with bigger failures down the road.

Whether it's a repair like this or something more involved, our mobile welding setup means we can handle it wherever the trailer is parked. No shop drop-off required.
